GL Labels de México

Industry solutions

Food & Beverage Labels

Food and beverage labeling is where GL Labels built its reputation. For three decades our flexographic presses have printed the labels on beverages, instant coffee, dairy products, and packaged foods sold across Mexico — brands whose labels must survive bottling lines, refrigeration, condensation, and retail handling while keeping their color exact, run after run.

Flexographic labels printed by GL Labels for beverage, coffee, and juice brands

For US food brands, our position 20 minutes from the San Diego border means nearshore production economics without overseas lead times — and a team that produces bilingual English/Spanish labeling for products sold on both sides of the border.

Example applications

Dairy packaging with regulatory panels

Cheese and dairy labels printed with full nutrition facts panels and barcode areas on moisture-tolerant stock — built to stay legible and adhered under refrigeration.

Beverage wrap labels at volume

Multi-color wrap labels for water and juice bottles, printed flexo for consistent brand color across runs in the hundreds of thousands.

Cross-border SKUs

One product, two markets: bilingual label versions prepared in-house so the same SKU can sell in US and Mexican retail without a second design vendor.

Frequently asked questions

Are your label materials safe for food packaging?

We stock materials approved by the FDA for direct contact with food, and standard packaging-grade stocks for labels applied to outer packaging. Tell us your application — direct contact or outer package — and we'll match the right material.

Will the labels survive refrigeration and condensation?

Yes — for refrigerated and frozen products we combine film facestocks like white BOPP with freezer-grade adhesives, and protect the print with UV varnish or lamination so labels stay adhered and legible in cold, wet conditions.

Can you print nutrition facts and bilingual panels?

Yes. Our in-house prepress team sets nutrition facts panels, ingredient lists, and bilingual English/Spanish versions, and can generate and verify your barcodes.

What run sizes make sense for food labels?

Flexographic printing is most economical from about 10,000 labels up, and per-label cost drops significantly at higher volumes. Plates are a one-time charge, waived on exact reorders.
